Student summit

 Kia ora e te ao, I had a blast today, I had the Student summit today! It was so fun we did some presenting and listening. here is the thing that I presented.  I have a school shout out to do, The shout out goes to Wigram primary and South hornby because they showed me how to do a few that I didn't know before.

The Split

 

She had been standing there for hours, surrounded by ice.

As the sun peeped its head over the distant mountains on the horizon, an orange and yellow hue filled the sky. The warmth of the sun was a gesture of kindness to her frozen hands, which she clasped together in front of her trembling body.

It was then that she heard it… Crack! It was as if the world in front of her was breaking in two… 

Melanie screamed as she gazed at the long crack that went around the world “I’m not ready to die no no no no!” she said in tears “I have a life to live I DON’T WANT TO DIE NOW” then she started to have a tantrum. Her parent find her after 3 hours of searching for the lost girl.

 They were so grateful that they found her because the crack was about to fully disconnect to the other half of the world so they quickly pick her up and run back to their house and they put her into the emergency room in their house.  They took cover under the big and long table. They waited and waited for the crack to separate fully. (3 hours later.) “its finally over” Emily said with a sigh “Yeah I did not expect it to take 3 hours to separate”...”Well I guess we can live the rest of our lives now”..

Flooding in Canterbury

 

Wal about the damage that the rain has caused in Canterbury.

We had big puddles and a lot of blocked gutters and drains in Chrischurch over the last couple of days. 

We have had to try stay safe and away from the surface flooding. This has been caused by some of the drains being blocked with leaves and the water can’t drain away.

The flood has caused sewage and other pollution to overflow and now a lot of the water is contaminated. If you come in contact with the contaminated water you must shower and wash your clothes.

Some schools have been damaged and have had to work in the hall. Some of the power cells have been flooded and damaged. There have been evacuations from some houses.

The rivers have broken their banks and there has also been strong gusts of wind.

The Power

Kia ora, today I have some writing for you guys. I don't think I've published a story in so long. Bye!



☆The Powers☆ On Monday the 13th of April in 1994 a baby was born. Her name was Macy, When she was born everything was a hassle Her dad did not like Macy so he threw her across the room and then he ran out. Her mum died during birth because Macy was a big baby and waid a lot. (15 years later) Macy is 15 now and still is struggling with her life throughout the years she has been in a adoption center not been taken care of. She only got one meal a day and she never got anything that she wanted but a phone to text the police about how her dad was going and she sometimes got to call and catch up with her dad. The adoption people told Macy to go to sleep but the reason why was because they tried to murder her but that did not happen because she called the police every time someone or the adoption employees tried to kill her. One day Macy planne to sneak out the next night and tried to discover what was going on in her body because when she tried getting her phone when she was lazy and did not want to get up her phone went straight to her hand. (sun sets) the sun started to Macy new that it was her time to go but she did not want to go by her self she new that she needed someone to go with her. But as soon as she thought about it someone came straight to her mind so when that person went to bed she woke her up. When Macy woke her friend she toild her what the plan was and her friend Lacey agreed (well because she wanted to see if she was telling the truth or not). So they went to a lamppost and Macy told Lacey to stand behind her so that Macy could focus. So when she put her hand out and focused really hard the light started to lean towards Macy like a pet dog but a tall one. Macy was so happy that she was not focusing and the lamp started to crumble. Her friend said “get behind me”. Macy would not let lacey sacrifice her life. But macy new that she had to help the town so she let her sacrifice but she would not let go away with out a hug so Macy ran up to Lacey and hugged her then ran back quickly… but Macy remembered that she had powers so she could help her friend so she focused and fixed the lamppost. So macy became the cities hero and has lots of fans and so does lacey and the fans call Macy The Power.

The Murder

Kia ora, Today I have a post about a secret Murder who has caused something bad in a stadium... Well you better get ready to read and have a good week!

This place had once been filled with noise, thousands upon thousands of excited fans cheering as they applauded ‘the beautiful game’ being played in front of them. Now, all that remained were memories. Would this place ever be restored to its former glory? The people that were Murdered screamed with fear who ever stepped on that ground the fans of the game and the players would come and murder and scream like a ghast (a ghast is from a game called minecraft). The people who came to visit died. Some of them ran for their lives and killed themselves. (200 years later). It's been 200 years since the stadium had faded blood on it. Now let's introduce someone that I would love to have in this story before it carries on… my imagination friend Twilight. Yes, I don’t think she has been in any of my stories yet so she is in this one but let's carry on with the story and see what will happen. Twilight heard all those stories about the stadium and she did not believe any of them. The next day Twilight got ready for school and went on the bus to go to school and of course the first thing she’ll see is her friends waiting for her at the door. They walk with her into school to her locker and into the cafeteria to get a quick snack before class. When the bell rang they went to their class. Twilight had science class, her friend Sunlight had math and her friend Moonlight (well she's her sister but her parents broke up so yea), Moonlight had Art class. After class they went out onto the field to talk about weird things like rumors about the stadium. Twilight said to her friends “ITS A FAKE STORY IT GOT BURNT DOWN OK THERE'S NO GHOST NO ZOMBIES NO NOTHING but my real mums soul…”. (Twilight lived with her stepmum Ali). Twilight began to cry because all of the memories with her mum were in her head, she cried so much that she started vomiting in the bathroom! Twilight got sent to the sick bay to rest and calm down to realise that her real mum is still with her in the room as a ghost… she started to talk to her mum, her friends came in to check on how Twilight was going but they interrupted her “conversation” with her mum. Moonlight said to her “I know it can be hard losing a mum, having rumors told to you where mum died its really hard, but i’m here with you and your here with, I know what we've been through but we still have to live with it.” That speech made Moonlights and Twilights mum smile and even Twilight. Twilight got out of the sick bay and went to Moonlights and Sunlights house to tell them that she wants to go and visit the stadium to see the truth and to see if the rumors were true… they started to pack for the trip. After packing almost everything in their house. Thier parents said “where are you going Twilight/Moonlight/Sunlight?”. They said “uhh to my friends house but its a investigation thing so its gonna take me a while to get back”. Their parents thought that it was pretty suspicious but thats ok at least they found a way to lie to their parents and sneek out… They met up at Sunlights house to get the caravan to sleep and live in for probably 168 hours in total (a whole week) to discover what's been going on or what's Moonlights and Twilights History…. Sunlight said “whos going to drive?” Moonlight and Twilight looked at her like they were annoyed. Sunlight said “oh yea I have drivers licance silly me I -” “yea you need to remember that you have drivers licance” said Twilight, They went into the Van and drove off. Twilight was locating how long and how many miles it was from the city. (5 hours later)... It was reaching night time and they got ready for bed they got there food out and they had pizza. Moonlight said “that was delicious” Sunlight nodded with agremence. Then they got into there sleeping bags and went to sleep (on a mattress). But something happened The girls woke up from there slumber… scared and filled with fear Twilight regretted making a deal with her friends and ever coming here but as soon as they got out of the van there were ghosts and zombies surrounding the van. Twilight said ”uhh guys who invited them?” Sunlight replied “noone did they appeared out of nowhere”. They ran back into the van and got some baseball bats, crowbars and wood even some ghost rapalent. They got out of the van and started to attack, they attacked and attacked until they all disappeared into the night. They got back inside the van and drove back to their city and never came back to the stadium but who caused this mess... this means there is a murder.
