I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Kia ora e te ao! This is a post card of Paikea (me) on the whale. So me and my class have been learning about Paikea. Our teachers have been waiting to show us and tell us about it. Please leave some feed back
Hi Arabella. I'm Mikael from Yaldhurst school. I really like the photo you have made, it looks really cool. I don't think I could make it look like that If I tried to make it. Next time I think you should try to make the photo of you a little bit clearer because it is very faint. And maybe put the english translation of with maori you have put in it there because some of us can't understand it. Apart from that I think it looks cool.
Kia Ora, I'm Grace a year 7 student from YMS which stands for Yaldhurst Model School. I like this blog post because it explains what you're doing, and some background information about it.
I also like this because its very interesing because your riding a whale,
to improve you could mabe add more information how you did this and what did you do to photoshop yourself on a whale so maybe just some more information about it,
Kia Ora Arabella, my name is Jedi and I am a year eight in rimu class. I love this post sooo much! Because one: it's super colourful, two- it has an awesome description and three, I can see that you have made most of it yourself.
I love whales🐳, they are so majestic and gentle but Cheetah's are still my favourite animal. What's your favourite animal?
To improve maybe you should add the english version of that text. For those who don't understand Te reo. Otherwise, awesome job Arabella. You have ticked all the boxes.
My name is Maddison I am a year 7 from Yaldhurst Model School.
I loved this plog and I think that it does teach others something new witch I think is pretty cool. First I always say that even though some blogs are amazing ( like yours ) there is always room for imporvemt. ithink that this is such a cool idea for a postcard. Where would the stamp go?
I think that the first thing you need to do is fix you spelling. Another thing you could do is try to make your own pictures so you can change the color and make them in anyway you want. I think that another good thing to do would be explane how and why you made this in your text.
I think that this looks super cool and creative Keep up the good work!
Hey Arabella, My name is Chloe I am a year 8 from Yaldhurst Model School! I really like your blog post its super! I think there is lots of room for improvement by adding more description, describing more things, like how you felt about this etc. I like how you drawed the water and background yourself, but maybe next time you could draw the whale yourself to?
It makes the pictures cooler if you drawed it yourself. Maybe you could fix up your spelling and also you could put the english of those words? Thats really cool how your teacher is teaching you cool different things! Well done

Hi there Arabella, my name is Abby and I am a year 7 student at Yaldhurst Model School, WOW! What good editing.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you did a really cool picture and it made me really want to look at why you have a cool picture that looks like you made it.
This reminds me of other Paikea's that I have seen but yours is different compared to the crowd because of the amount of detail in your work.
Next time you could have a translation so the reader doesn't have to leave your blog to see what it says.
How long did your art take?
Kind regards,
Abby.
