Amazon Rainforest Fires!

Kia ora e te ao! We have been learning about the Amazon Rainforest fire. We have been gathering information about the and how it's going. Once we  gathered information  we learnt how to create a piece of  of opinion  writing . It was really good to be able to explain how I felt.

Render Forest!

Kia ora. We have been learning how to create animations using Render Forest. We are going to learn how to use different parts of Render Forest. Watch this it's about the dentist.  

Alien Angles

Kia ora! We have been learning how to play a game called "Alien Angles" its a very cool game. It's all about angles. You need to save the aliens or you go to the moon all alone. These are the angels that some of us did like a right angle, obtuse and acute angles. Please comment!

3D Toothpicks

Kia ora e te ao! In pangarau we have been learning about 3D shapes and how to make them, we used  blu-tac and toothpicks  to create our shapes. I made a prism, a pyramid, a cube and a diamond. Please comment.

Zoo switch!

Kia ora Kautou! Me and my class have been learning how to use a game called "Zoo Switch".  You can create and combine animals of  your imagination. We have been using this game for our descriptive writing. Here is my animal. its called the Moncheeger.

Ruin

I woke up. I was in some weird place called RUIN, I was scared, i was being chased by a robot that wanted me dead, I chucked a bunch of stuff out the window then i noticed there was nobody here it might have been because of the monster that was chasing me. It was all green, looked like there had been a couple of exploisnes. I needed my charger, I was so stressed, I jumped out of the window i opened the box, The box had my charger in it and rubbish too,Then all of a sudden i heard the sound of the robot that wants to try killing me. I ran away, then in front of my eyes i saw a… MOTOR BIKE!!!! Then the beast came closer so i jumped onto the motor bike and speeded off! I got closer and closer to a tunnel. Then i started throwing grandes at the beast i started doing lots of vilont stuff and throwing them at the beast then the beast blow up it was incridable Then i started to look and look again and again for my charger it was… dameged i was nearly out of power but… when i woke up it was just a dream Thank goddness for that and i lived perfectly.

Kia ora e te ao! We have been learning about how Matariki is celebrated around the world. Take a look at my thinglink to find out about how other cultures celebrate!

We have been learning how to design our dream house. My dream house has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (ones for me), 1 lounge, a cinema and a back yard. The feature that i love about my house is the cinema. 

Kupe Me Te Wheke a Muturangi

We have had a visiter in Rm3 called Matua Makaore. He has Shared the story of Kupe me te Wheke a Muturangi with us. We also learnt how to animate using google slides.
 

The people that traveled a long way

This week we have been creating a piece of writing using a picture to help us. First we had a class brainstorm on what the picture was about, then we brainstormed some adjectives. Finally we started our writing. I am sharing it with you, please leave me a comment. Thanks!

The teddy bear

I’m walking down the street to get ice cream at the ice cream shop with my teddy bear. But as soon as we got into the ice cream shop I dropped my teddy and then we went outside. After I got ice cream then we got into the car and as soon as we got home I realised that I dropped my teddy I was so worried I just wanted to run to get it back so I can have a tea party with it. so me and my brother made poster so people can find it. So me and my brother wrote it smells like strawberries and it is pink, it has a dress on. Then 3 days later the doorbell rang and some body found my teddy yay. Then at night i hugged it.

The lost tribe

One day there was lots of people who lived together, then some people moved to a different country. 6 years later the people who left came back, but then the leader told the people that left the tribe “ You will not go back you are part of my tribe now you are not them.” The people said “No we will never let you be with us ever again.” Then they ran to there old tribe and hugged there old tribe. They got their clothes back and learned to not leave their own tribe and stay until you are a adult.
