Kia Ora Arabella. You have started really well. For slide 6,with the directions that the ant needs to travel,maybe you could add North,South,East or West. For example-to get to the muffin ant needs to crawl 3 squares North. To get to the apple he needs to crawl 3 squares East then 2 squares South.
